A prominent youth leader in Rivers State, Comrade Kingdom Aforole, has sued for peace among youths of the State.
Aforole said dialogue remains the panacea to resolving issues among youth leaders.
Aforole observed this at the weekend while receiving an award of Excellence in recognition of his services to humanity by the weekly Watch.
Aforole, former Ozuzu Youth Movement President said it was high time Rivers youth embraced and worked towards building a better society.
Aforole, also Assistant Secretary of Ogbakor Etche Caretaker Committee said Rivers youths needed to emulate leaders like Chief Nyesom Wike, Sir Peter Odili, Sir Celestine Omehia, among others who have made Rivers State proud as Governors
He said social vices including kidnapping, cultism, rape and killings should be avoided in order to achieve set goals.
He said he was able to achieve success because of humility, focus and determination, and noted that the youths could make it if these traits are pursued with vigour.
He commended the body for finding him worthy for the award saying it is a challenge to do more.
Earlier, the Editor-In-Chief, Mr Taneh Austin said the recipient was chosen based on his service to humanity especially in the areas of peace and philanthropy.
