RSG Flags Off New Govt House Jetty, Today
The Rivers State Government will flag off the construction of a new ultra-modern Government House Jetty, today.
The old jetty located at the Marine Base Area of the state capital has been dilapidated for so many years.
A statement by the state Commissioner for Information and Communications, Pastor Paulinus Nsirim, yesterday, said, “It is expected that the new jetty, when completed, will comprise Governor’s Boat Lounge, Marina, Navy Camp and other modern facilities.
“Governor Nyesom Wike, will be the Chief Host at the event which will attract dignitaries from all walks of life.
“Please, note that all Covid-19 protocols will be observed at the venue,” the statement added.
