COS, SSG, PDP Chairman, Others Attend Nsirim’s Son’s Wedding

The Chief of Staff, Rivers State Government House, Port Harcourt, Engr Emeka Woke; Secretary to the Rivers State Government, Dr Tammy Danagogo; and Chairman, Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP), Rivers State chapter, Amb Desmond Akawor; were among dignitaries who attended the wedding/reception ceremonies of Chibueze Nsirim, eldest son of the state Commissioner for Information and Communications, Pastor Paulinus Nsirim, at the weekend.
Woke represented the state Governor, Chief Nyesom Wike at the momentous event, which was held at the Charismatic Renewal Ministries (CRM), Love International Centre, Rumurolu,Woji, in Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of the state.
Other dignitaries at the event include, the Rivers StateHead of Service,Barrister Rufus Godwins; Commissioner for Finance, Barrister Isaac Kamalu; Permanent Secretaries, Ministry of Information and Communications, BarristerIbiwariClaption-Ogolo and her Education counterpart, Sir ChidiAdiele; amongst others.
Speaking at the Charismatic Renewal Ministries (CRM), Love International Centre,Rumurolu, General Overseer of the ministries, Dr CosmasIlechukwu, said marriage embodies a prophetic mandate from God.
Ilechukwu said that straying anyway from that prophetic mandate always lead to frustration.
According to the cleric, understanding what God said in a relationship was key to successful marriage, adding that the will of God was that couples should convert their homes to revival cells.
He called on Chibueze and his wife, Chinenye, to ensure that their children were brought up with the fear of God.
Ilechukwu also enjoined the couple to ensure that their home was like a mini-heaven, adding that “homes should be a place for instruction in righteousness”.
In his remarks, Chairman of the reception, Prof Attang Amasiatu, urged the couple to always pray together, play together and plan together, adding that these will lead to better understanding of each other’s problem.
Father of the groom, who is also the state Commissioner for Information and Communications, Pastor Paulinus Nsirim, described the ceremony as a thing of joy, adding that he was very proud of his son, whom he said was properly groomed for the challenges ahead as far as marriage institution was concern.
Nsirim also advised them to build their foundation on God, adding that they must be patient with one another, and avoid hearsay.
Similarly, the father of the bride, High Chief Ebenezer Jewe, also called on them to build their foundation on the principle of God.
The mothers of the couple also spoke on the need for them to put God first in their relationship.
