Nasarawa United Beats Rivers United To Close Gap

Nasarawa United defeated Rivers United 2-1 in a well contested week 29th fixture of Nigeria professional football league last Sunday.
The Solid Miners welcomed their visitors to the Lafia Township Stadium, but laboured to grind out a win against resurgent Pride of Rivers.

The three points moved them to a point within Akwa United, who occupied the top of the table.
