Handball: Emeana Sure Of Nigeria Grabbing W’Cup Ticket

Technical Director of the Handball Federation of Nigeria, Ferdinand Emeana, has stated that the Nigeria Women Handball National Team can go all the way to shock the rest of Africa by picking the World Cup ticket at the Africa Women Handball Cup of Nations which starts on Sunday in Cameroon.
Emeana, speaking in a chat with Tidesport source stressed that though the team is young, they are not looking down on the potentials and what the team can achieve at the Cup of Nations. Nigeria will travel with 16 players and officials today with Coach Rafiu Salami leading NIgeria’s quest in Cameroon.
“For 26 years, we’ve not been there and for over three years now, we’ve been going for these Youth Championships, so instead of recycling the same set of players, we recruited the children, the best among them and we got Coach Rafiu Salami from France. We are going there to do well and if possible pick a World Cup ticket.”
