Flags Lowered At Synagogue Church On TB Joshua’s Death

All the flags adorning the Synagogue Church of All Nations in Lagos have been lowered at half mast as sympathizers thronged the church on the news of the death of Prophet Temitope Balogun Joshua.
Sympathizers and followers of the prophet were seen crying around the church premises.
The usual church service did not hold in the church, yesterday.
Security men at the premises prevented worshippers from entering the premises.
An eye witness also said that some expatriates who had been in the church for prayers were seen leaving, yesterday morning.
However, President Muhammadu Buhari has commiserated with the family and members of The Synagogue, Church of All Nations (SCOAN) on the passing of their father and founder, Pastor Temitope Balogun, popularly known as TB Joshua.
The President, in a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Chief Femi Adesina in Abuja, yesterday, noted that the renowned televangelist will be missed by his followers all over the world not only for his spiritual contributions, but for touching many lives through philanthropic gestures.
Buhari urged Pastor Joshua’s followers to take solace in the knowledge that life is not measured and defined by chronological longevity but by enduring legacies and lives touched positively.
He also condoled with the government and people of Ondo State, and prayed that God Almighty will accept the soul of the departed pastor.
Also reacting to the death, the former President, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan, expressed sadness over the death of the Spiritual leader of Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), Prophet Temitope Balogun Joshua, describing him as a devout man of God.
In a message of condolence to his family and the SCOAN congregation, yesterday, the former President noted that Joshua who died at the age of 57 served God and humanity with relentless passion.
Jonathan also prayed God to grant millions of his followers across the world the strength to cope with his exit.
The former President, in a statement issued by his media aide, Ikechukwu Eze stated, “I am saddened to hear about the death of Prophet Temitope Balogun Joshua known as TB Joshua, the Spiritual Leader of Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), at a young age of 57.
“TB Joshua was a devout man of God who served God and humanity with relentless passion. He was a man of sound doctrine, meek and faithful to his call and passion of reconciling men to God and offering hope to humanity.
“As a Christian leader, TB Joshua and his Ministry exemplified Christ in faith, love and charity; positively impacting the lives of many Nigerians, Africans and millions of people across the world.
“I condole with his family, his church and millions of his followers across the world. May God grant them peace and strength to cope with this loss.”
