Afelokhai Reveals How He Lost S’Eagles Call Up

Goalkeeper Theophilus Afelokhai, has revealed how he lost the chance to earn an invitation to the Super Eagles squad under Coach Gernot Rohr.
Afelokhai in a chat with Tidesports source said that the media reports of suspension by Rivers United was the period he should have gotten an invite to the National team.
“I was to be called in to the national team when a lot of noise was going about in the new media about suspension”,
“I believed that time I was doing well, and it was my time to be called in but when the information came that I was suspended, the team handlers had to move on.
“I was not happy for what transpired then, but today, I have forgiven whoever started the rumours, I have to move on with my career because I don’t believe that anyone can stop me from moving forward.”
