Aluu-Omagwa Road To Be Flagged-Off, Today

The NEW Rivers Vision train would move to Aluu in Ikwerre Local Government Area, today, to flag-off the Aluu-Omagwa Road.

A statement signed by the state Commissioner for Information and Communications, Pastor Paulinus Nsirim, yesterday, said that the 9.8-kilometre road project would be flagged-off by a former Deputy Governor of the state, Engr. Tele Ikuru at 11a.m.

It added that the state Governor, Chief Nyesom Wike, would lead prominent citizens of the state and the country to the ceremony.

“Traditional dances from Aluu and Omagwa will add colour to the historic ceremony.

“Please, note that all Covid-19 protocols will be observed at the venue,” the statement added.
