Opobo/Nkoro: Gogo-Jaja Commends Voters

The local government election last Saturday was smooth in Opobo/Nkoro as the Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Campaign Director General in the local government, Dr. Tamunosisi Gogo-Jaja was among personalities who voted in the polls at Opobo Town.
Gogo-Jaja who voted in his Ward 7 lauded the voters and supporters and expressed optimism that the outcome would be favourable to his party.
Also, the Accountant-General, Amaopusenibo Sim Fubara voted in his Ward 5 at about 10.15am.
PDP candidate in the elections, Comrade Enyiada Cookey, voted at about 10.am and assured that once he is voted into power he will give attention to youth empowerment and women development.
Meanwhile, the chairman of People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Opobo/Nkoro LGA Godwin Pepple, has commended the Rivers State Independent Electoral Committee RSIEC on the just concluded Rivers State Local Government Elections.
Pepple in a chat with newsmen during the victory party of the PDP to celebrate the victory of the party at the just concluded Rivers State Local Government Elections said he was pleased with the conduct of the election by RSIEC. He described the election as peaceful, free and fair.
The party chairman described the victory of Hon. Enyiada as a victory for all, and good governance.
