Monarch Lauds Wike, RSIEC On LG Polls

The paramount ruler of Apara Kingdom and Eze Oha Apara IV, King ChikeWorluWodo , has commended Governor NyesomWike  for the peaceful and credible local government elections across the  23 Local Government Areas of the state
He also commended the Rivers State Independent Electoral Commission, RSIEC for organising and conducting credible 2021 local government elections in the state..
The monarch lauded  RSIEC for the orderliness witnessed in the last Saturday polls
The king said, he strongly believed in the calibre and the credibility of the leadership of RSIEC and insisted that the electoral umpire would not disappoint the Governor and the good people of the state in carrying its duty.
He stated this at his palace, Rumuigbo shortly after casting his vote.in his community
He said election should not be seen as a do-or-die affairs, urging the electorates to vote credible candidates.
According to him, “credible people with fear of God should be elected into positions of trust in our communities”.
The Paramount Ruler equally commended the security agents for ensuring a peaceful conduct, of the election and lauded the electorates for their massive turn-out to choose their leaders in the third-tier of government.
