Enyimba FC of Aba will launch a last gasp effort to honour her CAF Confederation Cup group stage match day 5 fixture, away to Libyan side, Ahly Benghazi after the Confederation of African Football CAF handed the club a reprieve to have its game postponed from today to tomorrow.
The team still is expected to be conveyed by a chattered flight to Libya later tonight after missing out on their initial travel schedule which prompted a request from the club to CAF for the game to be postponed to Friday.
The huge financial crisis also leads to the club owing the players a number of match bonuses. Seven players are also expected to be out of the travelling party to Benghazi, leaving the coach with a big source of worry, ahead of the crucial clash.
