The newly crowned Omezuru Oha 1 of Igbo Agwuru Asa kingdom, High Chief Emmanuel Nwaobilor, says security is key to the development of every society.
Omezuru Oha 1 of Igbo kingdom said he planned to collaborate with security agencies to secure lives and property of his people.
Nwaobilor disclosed this during his coronation as Omezuru Oha 1 of Igbo Kingdom by the Agwuru Asa traditional rulers headed by his Majesty, Dr Samuel Amaechi, recently
He commended the security effort of the state governor, Chief Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, especially the recent launch of C41 securities outfit.
The Royal Father called on the people to support the governor in his effort to eradicate crime in the state.
Nwaobilor expressed gratitude to God and his people for the honour done him.
He said his coronation had challenged him to do more for his people
Chief Nwaobilor attributed the honour done to him to the pivotal role he played, which led to the choice of Eze Amaechi as Onyi Ishi Agwuru Igbo, some years back during Hon. Chibuike Amaechi’s administration
Chief Nwaobilor often called “One-man squad,” said he remained grateful to God Almighty and his subjects for appreciating his contribution towards the development of Etche.
It would be recalled that before 1pm, the Onye Ishi Agwuru, was done with the coronation ceremony heralding and proceeding to Agbara with traditional music group that kept all segments of the community lively.
Canon shots were fired to herald both the crowning and welcoming of the new chief.
The ceremony, which took place at the palace of His Majesty Edegelem Igbo in Etche Local Government Area of Rivers State, was attended by the cream of the society, people from all walks of life, distinguished chiefs, political class and business associates.
