Unionist Bids Farewell To Bachelorhood
The Treasurer of Nigeria Civil Service Union (NCSU), Rivers State Universal Basic Education (UBE) Branch, Comrade Ezekiel Sordum Baekee, on Saturday, March 6, 2021 bade farewell to bachelorhood, as he got hooked to his heartthrob, former Miss Esther Eserieboma in a holy matrimony at the Foundation Faith Church along Ada-George Road, Port Harcourt.
The wedding ceremony, which attracted friends, well-wishers, relatives, members of NCSU and people from all walks of life, left the couple reeling in ecstasy, as they exchanged the marital vows and wriggled their waists to the admiration of all those present.
The National Auditor of NCSU, Comrade Peaceman Horsfall, who chaired the reception ceremony at the same venue, admonished the couple to continue to love and cherish each other in their matrimonial home.
The visibly elated bridegroom, Ezekiel told The Tide in an interview that he was very happy to have found a wife he cherished and desired, stressing that what attracted Esther to him were her humility, calmness and beauty, and advised bachelors out there not to be scared and discouraged by the challenge of finance but to look up to God to grant them the enablement.
He thanked all those who helped in making the occasion a huge success, particularly, Rev Monsignor Pius Kii; Esther’s elder sister’s husband; members of NCSU, among others.
The Coordinating Secretary of NCSU for Rivers and Bayelsa States and Zonal Secretary of the union in the South -South, Comrade Dan Otakpo described Ezekiel as a committed unionist, and assured that the union would continue to support committed members of the union.
The Rivers State Chairman of NCSU, Comrade Chukwukah Osumah, while felicitating with the couple, expressed happiness that Ezekiel had quit bachelorhood, and advised the couple to always abide by their marital vows.
Also present at the colourful ceremony were the Commissioner, Service, Rivers State Universal Basic Education Board (RSUBEB), Hon Precious Baridoo; former Rivers State Chairman of NCSU, and ex-officio member, Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) in the State, Comrade Opuoyibo Lilly-West; and the Women Leader of the union in Bayelsa State, Comrade (Mrs) Diote Agnes Gabriel, among others.
