Tears, As Veteran Broadcaster, Sadiq Daba Was Laid To Rest
Veteran broadcaster and actor, Sadiq Daba, has been laid to rest at a cemetery in Agege, Lagos, amid tears. The former staff of Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) died on Wednesday after a long battle with leukemia and prostrate cancer.
The actor starred in Cock Crow At Dawn, October 1, Citation and many other top movies. He is survived by his wife, two children and grandchildren.
Announcing his demise in a tweet via its Twitter handle, the NTA said “ Sad news, veteran broadcaster and Nollywood actor, Sadiq Daba is dead. He died this evening (Wednesday) after a long excruciating battle with leukemia and prostrate cancer, may his gentle soul rest in perfect peace”.
