Royal House Debacle: Twitter Users Compare Peter Okoye With Prince Harry

Former member of de funct music duo of P-square, Peter Okoye has become a hot topic trending on twitter as the singer’s name has been dragged into the social media discussion of the interview Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle had with Oprah Winfrey
A twitter user has started it all by tweeting that the kind of support that Prince Harry gave to Meghan despite attacks from Royal family and British media is uncommon in Nigerian men, particularly Igbo men.
The tweet was immediately countered with tweets from men who wasted no time in reminding users on the micro blogging App that Peter Okoye also did the same thing for his wife Lola Okoye.
Recall that Meghan in an interview with Oprah Winfrey accused the royal family of racism. Her husband, Prince Harry who took her side stepped down from royal responsibilities and relocated to the U.S.
Some Nigerians have now likened Prince Harry’s situation to that of Peter Okoye who took sides with his wife Lola against his brothers during his split with P-square.
The split between the defunct music group, P-square was criticised on social media after Peter Okoye insisted that he will not reunite with his brother as he chose his immediate family over his brothers leading to the split of the group.
