Rivers Angels FC  Ready To Tackle FC Robo

Rivers Angels FC of Port Harcourt has reaffirmed its readiness to encounter its Lagos State counterpart, FC  Robo Queens in one of the match Day-9 fixtures of the on going Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) premiership scheduled to hold today at the Legacy Pitch, National Stadium, Surulere.
The  match which is expected to be a thriller would have the Jewels of Rivers take their pound of flesh from their opponents to settle scores with the DreamStars Ladies who denied them the opportunity of topping the league last Thursday, after playing a 1-1 draw with the host.
The Angels who are eager to lead the park had a chance last week, as Bayelsa Queens FC drew her week 9 game with hosts, Osun Babes in Oshogbo last Wednesday, but the Angels lost the opportunity as they failed  in their quest for a total victory.
However,  today’s match would not be an easy one as both sides would come prepared to ensure they win convincingly. Rivers Angels would go for all three points at stake in today’s match and the host would go for nothing less than the three points, knowing that their visitors would leave no -stone unturned to ensure they achieved their goal.
On the other hand, the host would be battle ready for the challenge ahead of them, no doubt.  The Lagos Queens are no pushovers and will not just  sit and watch their visitors come into their domain and snatch their joy away from them. It is going to be a display of football artistry as both sides battles for victory in today’s match
Rivers Angels are currently second on the log with 21 points from nine matches played so far in the NWF League,  won two, drew three and lost four.
FC Robo Queens are occupying fifth position on the chat with 15 points from nine games played.
It would be recalled that Rivers Angels did not return home last week after their match with DreamStars Ladies, since their next match fixtures with FC Robo Queen was scheduled to hold in Lagos State.
