‘Our Ambition Is Still Achievable’
At the beginning of this 2020/2021 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) season, we had an ambition to win League and this is still achievable, coach Stanley Eguma, said.
He stated this shortly after he ran away with a point from Plateau United, in Jos, as they force their host to a one all draw, on Wednesday.
Eguma, explained that they actually planned to pick up points in Jos, having lost two previous away games
According to him, his players’ morale were low after they crashed out from CAF confederation cup, but the technical crew is trying to bring back their morale.
“ I thanked my players for the effort they put up today. After we lost two away games, we have no choice than to rise up to the occasion.
Actually, Plateau United played well, but we were able to absorb the pressure, playing one short after the red card. My players showed a good character to ensure that we did not conceed goal till the penalty came” he stated.
