NWFL Week 5 Fixtures: Rivers Angels FC Reassures Fans Of Winning

Rivers Angels FC of Port Harcourt has reassured sports lovers that it  will continue it’s good work as the league resumes today, after the Nigeria Women Football Leaugue (NWFL) COVID-19 test  break, to play host to Ibom Angels in one of the week five fixtures scheduled to hold at the God’swill Akpabio Stadium, Uyo.
The match which is expected to be interesting will have the Jewels of Rivers  perform to achieve their immediate dream, which is to have a total Victory at the end of today’s encounter.
The Angels have promised to take home the points at stake in today’s match or at least share the three points with their opponent.
Head coach of the team, Edwin Okon, had said that his players were in high spirit and are poised for a win, saying that the players have not relent in their training, despite the break.
“It would not be an easy task,  but we are set for today’s encounter, as the team has worked hard for this day despite the COVID-19 break. My players are ready for match,” Okon said
Meanwhile, the hosts will not just watch their visitors embarrass them on their home soil, the match will no doubt be a clash of the Titans as both sides battle to carry the day.
Ibom Angels FC,  which is also a good side in its own way, will no doubt put up a good fight to ensure it garner the three points at stake in today’s match in order to boost their points on the league chat.
It would be recalled that Rivers Angels FC defeated Abia Angels FC 2-0 in the week 4 fixtures, while, Ibom Angels lost 2-3 to Dream Stars Ladies FC of Lagos.
Currently, the Bayelsa Queens FC is leading the league table with 12 points, Followed by FC Robot Queens nine (9) points and Rivers Angels FC third on the table with eight(8) points.
