Nollywood Actor, Ernest Azuzu Is Dead
Veteran Nollywood actor, Ernest Azuzu, is dead. He died on Tuesday, January, 26, 2021. His wife, Jennifer who confirmed the sad event said he fainted on Tuesday evening and never woke up.
The actor’s wife was said to have called Nollywood actor-cum politician, Desmond Elliot, to announce the death to him.
Azuzu, who has suffered a stroke, since 2015 made headlines when a video of him pleading for alms went viral on social media.
Azuzu began his acting career in the 90s and rose to prominence after he starred in the 1997 Nollywood Classic Rituals.
He was the toast of Nollywood until his career nosedived after he came down with a stroke in 2015 and it affected his speech. He was also bedridden for 3years.
