The Technical Manager of Rivers United Football Club of Port Harcourt, Stanley Eguma, has said that it is not yet time to celebrate, saying that he can only celebrate when he wins the League.
He stated that, after playing three league mat-ches without loss, it is still early to jubilate, as they are working hard to put the team in good shape.
Eguma, said this on Sunday, in a post match interview, just after his side, thrashed  Kwara Uni-ted FC of Illorin 3-0 in match day three of the Nigeria Professional  Football League (NPFL) at Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium, in Port Harcourt.
“Today I thanked my players for living up to expectations as they got the maximum three points.
I think the league is still early to celebrate United.
We are still working very hard for the success of the club.
Besides, we are also taking one game after the other until we get to the promise land,” Eguma sta-ted.
The number one coach in the state revealed that they trained very well against Kwara United FC, because they are one of the best teams as far as NPFL is concerned.
According to him, he perceived that Kwara Uni-ted was optimistic and  confident to win the game on our ground.
Earlier, the head coach of Kwara United FC, Abdullahi  Biffo, gave cre-dit to Rivers United FC for their impressive perfor-mance in the match.
“It is a big lesson for us to learn in today’s game.
Winning our first match does not make us special.
We are going back to the drawing board to correct our grey areas,” Coach Biffo said.
