Iriebe Hosts Evo Unity Wrestling Festival, 22 Years After

The paramount ruler of Iriebe Community in Obio/Akpor Local Government Area, HRH Eze Jeremiah Worenwu has attributed the successful hosting of the 2020 Evo Unity Wrestling Festival 22 years after to the prevailing peaceful atmosphere in the area.
Eze Worenwu said this in an interview with newsmen during the festival in the area.
He also blamed the situation on the untiring effort of Governor Ezenwo Nyesom Wike to ensure peace in Iriebe community.
The monarch reassured the community maximum support to Governor Nyesom Wike.
He also lauded the Evo Youth Council led by Prince Wopara for organising one of the best wrestling festivals in the annals of Evo Kingdom.
He thanked the youths for rejuvenating one of the unity festivals in the kingdom.
Eze Iriebe said the community would not hesitate to support ideas capable of bringing the people together as one indivisible entity, saying the peaceful and growth of the land should remain paramount to all and sundry.
Chairman Iriebe council of chiefs, Chief Godspower Eleto expressed satisfaction on the successful hosting of the festival attributing the success to the paramount ruler, Eze Worenwu.
Chief Eleto called on the youths to embrace peace and work towards the development of the land, saying the community would remain peaceful if youths would emulate good things.
In his speech, Evo youth council president, Prince Wopara recoginsed the effort of Iriebe paramount ruler towards the success of 2020 Evo wrestling festival.
Prince Wopara said the aim of the youth is to actualise peace, unity and love among Evo communities.
