BECE: Don’t Bribe Teachers To Obtain Result, RSG Warns Parents
Parents and guardians have been warned not to pay money to obtain results of the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE).
In a statement made available to The Tide and signed by Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Education, yesterday, the government announced the release of the result of the 2020 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE).
It said, “Candidates by this notice are directed to visit their various schools to obtain hardcopies of their result.
“Heads of public schools and administrators of private schools are enjoined to visit the Ministry of Education to obtain results of their candidates”, the statement said.
The ministry, however, warned that it shall not condone extortion of students under the guise of issuing BECE results.
