2021 Ughelli Pre-Season Cup Gets Underway

The  11th Edition of the Ughelli Pre-Season  Cup Tournament, 2021, kicked off yesterday at the Ughelli Township Stadium, Ughelli, Delta State, with 16 teams to compete for honours.
The tournament, which is organised by the Chief Coach of Excellent FC  Onome James is immortalise late Prince  Anthony Obaseki,   had Excellent FC, Ughelli and Go- Round FC, Omoku  played in the opening match of the competition.
The clubs which are divided into four groups, A B, C and D have, Insurance of Benin,  Rovers of Calabar, Excellent FC of Ughelli and Apex Krane FC, Agbor in Group A.
Bayelsa United FC,   Yenagoa,  Go-Round FC, Omoku, Goddosky FC, Nnewi and Dynamite Force FC, Iyamho in Group B.
Also, Group C has Delta Force, Asaba,  Gabson.  FC Benin City,  BYT  Academical FC Lagos and Atete. FC Otu- Jeremi.
While in Group D, there is  Rolly FC, Benin City, T AKoma FC, Warri, Holy  Arrow FC, Oleh  and Godspinal FC, Ogulagha.
Meanwhile, in today’s Match Day 2 Fixtures,
Team Ivory Coast will slug it out with BYT Academical FC Lagos, at 9:00am.
Goddosky FC Nnewi  will encounter T Akoma FC, Warri at 2:30 pm.
While Godspinal Delta will play against  Rolly FC,  Benin City, at 4:30pm. All matches are scheduled to hold at the  same venue, Township Stadium, Ugheli.
The opening match between Excellent FC, Ugheli and Go-Riund FC, Omoku ended   0-2 in favour of  Go-Round FC.
