Coach of Nigeria Women’s Premier League side Nasarawa Amazon Christopher Danjuma has stated that the kickoff of the Nigeria women league is a good thing for women league football in Nigeria.
The Nigeria U20 women national team coach speaking in a chat with Tidesports source said that having the league kickoff as planned would be sending a strong signal to everyone considering how the women League board managed the situation of a fresh league draw when some clubs defaulted with the registration deadline without affecting the commencement date for the new season.
