The Head Coach of Ororo Football Club of Port Harcourt, Owhonda Owhoniiogwu, has said that the duty of a good coach is to reorientate the athlete towards developing his or her area of sports.
He explained that one of the important duties of a good Coach is not to allow the athlete’s  talent to die, rather, he should encourage the person.
Owhoniiogwu, made the assertion on Friday, in a post match interview shortly after his side defeated Mcwjef football academy 1-0 at the ongoing Port Harcourt City League ( PHCL) at Joseph Yobo Football field in D/Line, Port Harcourt.
“It was a very marvelous game.
The officiating is okay.
My boys played according to my instructions.
This is my first competitive outing with this club, but I have coached  other clubs like Top Football Academy” Owhoniiogwu said.
He commended the organisers of the tournament, adding that this is one of the best ways  of getting youth out of streets.
“Every coach’s ambition is to win,” he stated.
