ASUU Suspends Strike, Nine Months After
The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), has suspended the nine-month old strike.
The National President, Prof Biodun Ogunyemi made the announcement during press briefing in Abuja.
According to him, the development followed consultations with its National Executive Council (NEC).
The unconditional suspension on Wednesday, ended the protracted strike that brought Nigeria’s learning system to a standstill.
