Yaya Wants Top Flight B’Ball In Nigerian League
Abidjan Basketball club of Côte d’Ivoire and Nigerian national basketball team player, Abdul Yaya has stated that there is the need to have a top running professional basketball league in Nigeria because at the moment there is non even before the Covid-19 pandemic.
Speaking in a chat with Tidesports source, Yaya lampooned the current state of club basketball in Nigeria where there is no topflight Basketball league running in the country in the last three years.
He added that it’s a terrible situation to be in for players in Nigeria who have nothing to show for their professional trade as players.
