RunTown Receives Death Threats Over EndSARS Protests
Douglas Agu professionally known as Run Town has revealed that he has been receiving death threats since the endSARS protests ensued. Run- Town some days ago, had officially declared his interest to storm the streets of Lagos for the ongoing end- SARS protests.
The ‘Mad Over You’ crooner on Thursday, October 8, 2020,along side a few colleagues notably Falz, joined the Nigerian youths protest for an end to SARS and police brutality. Obviously, this move does not sit well with the powers that be as he has confessed about receiving death threats.
Run-Town via a tweet said, he would not bow to threats and be silent because “our cause is just”. “No matter how many death threats you send my way, you can never silence me, our course is just”, he wrote.
