BON To Honour Nollywood Icons, Larry Koldsweat, Others

Organisers of Best Of Nollywood (BON)Awards, have announced that film industry icons, Larry Koldsweat, Taiwo Ajayi Lycett and late Jimoh Aliu will be specially recognised and presented with awards of excellence at the12th edition of BON slated to hold in Ekiti State in December.
According to the founder of the awards programme, Seun Oloketuyi,the three veterans are being recognised for their numerous contributions to the film industry.
He stated that while Aliyu who passed away on September 17,2020, would be awarded post humously, it in no way belittles his efforts in building the present day Nollywood,instead it is a reminder of the indelible marks he made in the industry and on its practitioners in the last 50 years.
Olaketuyi also noted that the duo of Ajayi Lycett and Koldsweat would be on hand in Ekiti to receive their awards. He said, Ajayi Lycett whose acting career spans over five decades has become a true pillar of the industry, hence, the award
“We cannot also forget Larry Koldsweat ,the Igbo-born actor -cum pastor when mentioning those who have positively impacted the industry with their gifts and talents”.
