PDP Applauds Diri Over Commissioners’ Appointment
Chairman,Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Ogbia Council Area of Bayelsa State, Mr Anyam Moses, has applauded the state Governor, Senator Douye Diri for appointing the trio of Dr Promise Ekio, Ms Faith Opene and Mr Otokito Federal as Commissioners in the recently inaugurated State Executive Council.
Moses gave the commendations at the weekend while speaking with The Tide in his home town,Otuoke, former President Goodluck Jonathan’s country home.
He said in consonance with the Governor’s promise and willingness of running a prosperity administration, he had in his wisdom appointed technocrats as members of the State Executive Council who would together with him deliver on his Prosperity Agenda.
The party chieftain described the Governor as a leader with a vision, stressing that Dr Ekio, Mr Otokito and Ms Opene who hail from Otuokpoti, Otuoke and Oruma (Yibama) communities respectively of Ogbia Local Government Area are capable and tested fellows.
The Otuoke-born Political stalwart hinted that expectedly the commissioners from his council area like their peers from other parts of the state would together work for the interest of the state.
