Monarch Applauds Wike On Chokocho-Okehi Road

The traditional ruler of Igboh Kingdom in Etche Local Government Area of Rivers State, King Samuel Ndiwe Amaechi, has commended the Governor of Rivers State, Chief Nyesom Wike, for embarking on the reconstruction of the delapidated Chokocho-Okehi Road.
King Amaechi made the commendation in his palace at Igbo Etche at the weekend.
The Onye Ishi Agwuru of Igboh Kingdom, in a statement made available to said that Governor Wike loves Etche people and would always embark on projects that meet the needs of the masses.
“That is why from the inception of his administration, he started his massive road reconstruction from Chokocho Road.
“He constructed the Oil Mill/Igboh/
Chokocho/Umuechem Road. He also awarded the Ulakwo/Afara/Nihi Road, and the Odufor/Akpoku/Umuo-nye Road projects, among others.
“I am not surprised that Governor Wike would hear the cry of my people over the poor state of the Chokocho-Okehi Road and decided to do the needful for my people.
The Governor, Mr Quality Projects, has again demonstrated the love he has for the people of Etche”, he said.
The monarch assured that the Igboh Divisional Council and the people of Etche would always be a strong support to Wike’s administration.
The Chokocho-Okehi Road has been a serious concern to the people of Etche for a long time, as the poor state of the road has been hampering economic activities in the area.
