Tenant Presents Palliatives To Community, Residents

The people of Orochiri Community of Rumukalagbor in the Port Harcourt City Local Government Area of Rivers State have applauded one of its tenants, Chief Ikenna Kelvin Okafor, of his gesture of palliatives to the residents and indigenes of the community.
Chief Okafor donated some items to help cushion the stay at home order by the government in order to control the spread of the coronavirus in the state.
The Community Development Chairman, Elder Sunny Gabriel Kalagbor, while receiving the palliatives on behalf of the community commended the kind gesture of Chief Okafor and prayed that the pandemic ends soon so that citizens would go about their normal life.
Elder Kalagbor pleaded to the residents of Orochiri to accept the palliatives, stating that, Chief Ikenna Okafor amongst all the tenants in Orochiri community came forward to give palliatives to others to help elevate the hunger many are suffering in the community.
On his part, representative of Chief Ikenna Kelvin Okafor, Mr. Sunny Ehimeh said Chief Okafor decided to give palliatives to residents in Orochiri community to help the stay at home order by government due to the COVID-19 pandemic, stating that the gesture was to show the community his appreciation to them.
Also, Pastor Billy Kalabor, an Ex-Officio of Orochiri community in Rumukalagbor, commended the effort of Chief Ikenna Okafor for the palliatives he had made available for both indigenes and non- indigenes resident in Orochiri and he noted that the gesture is worthy, coming from a tenant in the community without been compelled to do so in this critical time, he prayed God to bless Chief Okafor.
