Anyanwu Mourns Death Of Welldone Supermarkets’ Owner
Elder statesman, Prince Emma Anyanwu has described the demise of the owner of Welldone Supermarkets in Rivers State, Mr Anaedum as “shocking and regrettable.”
Prince Anyanwu stated this yesterday when he paid a condolence visit to the widow of the deceased, Mrs Ngozi Anaedum at their residence in Port Harcourt.
He described the deceased as a “nice man, who was a very good tenant of his and was never found wanting in the payment of his rent.”
”His death came to me as a rude shock. He was a nice gentleman, who worked diligently and kept good relations. He worked very hard to achieve whatever he got and was quite humble.
”I want to assure his family that I will stand by them before, during and after his funeral. I will play my part in contributing towards a befitting burial.
”As part of my initial contributions, I am granting rent-free for five years on my property he is presently occupying. That is the little I can do at the moment,” he stressed.
The industrialist prayed God to grant the wife and family the perseverance to bear the huge loss.
Prince Anyanwu tasked the wife to do all within her powers to take care of her four children as if her husband was still alive and do well to reach him if there were challenges.
Responding, wife of the deceased, Mrs Ngozi Anaedum thanked Prince Anyanwu for visiting the family at such a trying moment.
She expressed surprise at the gesture and philanthropy of Prince Anyanwu, saying her family would be eternally grateful for such benevolence.
