The Technical Manager of Rivers United Football Club of Port Harcourt, Stanley Eguma, has said that his players played below expectation against IfeanyiUba, even as they win 1-0.
The encounter was one of the week 23 matches played across the nation at the ongoing Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).

Eguma said this while briefing sports journalists on Sunday, shortly after they defeated Ifeanyi Uba FC of Nnewi , at the Yakubu Gowon Stadium, Port Harcourt.
“Though we won but my boys( players) played below expectations. I am not satisfied with my players’ performance today,” Eguma said.

“I knew the game was going to be tough. IfeanyiUba gave us a very tough time, but thank God we got the maximum three points. They are a good side as far as NPFL is concern,” he stated.
