Pray For Wisdom, Banigo Tells Women

Rivers State Deputy Governor, Dr Ipalibo Harry Banigo, has urged women to continue to pray for the release of God’s anointing and wisdom to tackle the challenges faced by the women ministries.
Dr Banigo stated this while delivering a sermon on the Theme: “A Woman Full of Good Works,” at St Andrew’s Anglican Church, Mile 1 Diobu, Port Harcourt yesterday to Commemorate the 2020 Mother’s Day.
The deputy governor said there was a lot of work to be done in the women’s ministries which required divine insight and direction, noting that women must pray for God to renew their strength and zeal to fulfil the responsibilities He has placed in their hands.
Dr Banigo, who asked about the where about of the men, said women are the bread winners in most families today, stressing that our men must be the priests in the family; we need our fathers to be fathers indeed because families are collapsing badly all over the country.
“Children are not respecting their parents, there is a break down of law and order, children are joining cults, parents do not even know where their children are, some women even encourage their children to engage in “kpo fire’ business not minding the fact that it is wrong, illegal and is killing the children. We really need to cry to God because God is a God of order and not a God of confusion, we must set our priorities right, we must start a spiritual warfare; we must take back what the devil has taken from our families, we cannot fold our hands and let go like that”. the deputy governor said.
The deputy governor, who thanked the women for all their prayers and support for the Nyesom Wike-led administration from 2015 to date, assured them that the government under the watch of Governor Wike would continue to impact positively on the lives of the Rivers people.
