Peace In Eleme, My Greatest Achievement – Okparaji

Chairman, Eleme LGA of Rivers State, Barrister Phillip Wuwu Okparaji says that one of his greatest achievements,in leadership is the restoration of peace to the area within the life span of his administration.
Okparaji who made the declaration recently at Nchia while fielding questions from journalists said his administration was able to resolve internal chieftaincy and other wrangling that bedeviled the area and its people, according to him, had unfortunately resulted in the loss of several lives and properties over the years.
The LG boss regretted that years back after the crisis, some victims were still handicapped, and assured that something tangible would be done to ameliorate their plights of surviving the crisis that engulfed the area perpetrated by hoodlums and criminal minded elements in the area.
According to him:” Let us bury our hatchets and proffer lasting solutions to our political indifference. We should support the current leadership in the area in particular and that of His Excellency, Chief Nyesom Wike, our development trailer blazer for more transformation to thrive both in the area and the state in general for the betterment of all and sundry.”
