Banigo Inaugurates Technical Committee On Wakama, Kporghor Boundary Dispute

Rivers State Deputy Governor, Dr Mrs Ipalibo Harry Banigo, has inaugurated a Technical Committee on Wakama and Kporghor Community Boundary Dispute.
Speaking during the inauguration, at the Government House, in Port Harcourt yesterday, Dr Banigo reiterated Governor Wike’s determination to promote peace and development in all parts of the State.
Dr. Banigo who spoke through Chief Silas Eneyo, a member of the Rivers State Boundary Commission urged members of the Technical Committee to work within the terms of reference and ensure they carry out their assignments with utmost diligence and impartiality.
Responding, the Chairman of the Technical Committee on Wakama and Kporghor Boundary Dispute, Deputy Controller of Immigrations (DCI), Charles Epum expressed gratitude to the Deputy Governor for finding members of the committee worthy to serve the State.
He said members of the committee would do everything humanly possible to resolve the lingering boundary dispute between the Wakama and Kporghor communities.
