Suspected Cultist Killed In Clash In Orerokpe

A suspected cultist whose father is a police officer was allegedly killed in a clash with a rival cult in Orerokpe headquarters of Okpe Local Government Area yesterday January 30, 2020.
The cultist son of the police officer was also alleged to be an Indian helm merchant in Orerokpe.
It was gathered that the clash between the two rival cults also left two other cultists seriously injured; it was further gathered that the incident has caused panic amongst residents of the area mostly at nights.
However battle ready soldiers according to our source, were drafted into the community to check further hostilities between rival cult groups as the soldiers were said to be on security patrol every night.
Efforts to reach the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Onome Onovwakpoyeya by our correspondent through phone calls and test message to confirm the story proved abortive.
