Philanthropist Wants Security Screening For Intending PCRC Members

The Rivers State Police Command has been urged to ensure thorough security screening for intending members of the state Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC)
A Philanthropist, Mr Levis Ihama said this in an interview with newsmen in Port Harcourt said this was necessary to ensure that competent members are admitted into the committee,
Ihama who is the Director of Joaniven International Limited said all intending members of the PCRC must be men of integrity who should be above board in the discharge of their duties.
According to him, the problem with PCRC is that majority of the people are not qualified to be in the committee. The leadership of PCRC in Rivers State is trying but some members of PCRC are not doing their job well.
However, the leadership of the police command needs to call PCRC members to order, Mr Ihama said.
He pointed out that he was able to carry out certain projects and provide certain items to some divisional headquarters because of the love he has for the Nigeria Police, adding that the average police man is a good man.
