Assist Police With Useful Information-DPO

Authorities of Igwuruta Police Division has appealed to residents of the area to always volunteer useful information that could help the police fight criminality in the area.
The Divisional Police Officer in the area, CSP Deebor Emmanuel, made the appeal over the weekend while chatting with newsmen in his office.
The DPO said that the residents have a duty to contribute their quota towards the protection of the land because the police cannot do it alone.
He assured that adequate measures have been put in place to ensure that criminal elements are completely flushed out of the area.
He listed increase in patrol, surveillance, intelligent gathering, stop and search operation, as measures to combat crimes and solicited for the cooperation of members of the public especially
on information sharing.
Emmanuel said there is no going back on the fight against crime and criminality, particularly as the new Commissioner of Police has renewed commitment towards the fight.
He said even if the police is facing some challenges that would not discourage it from confronting  and combating crime to zero level noting that the concern of the Police is to maintain peace and orderliness.
