American RnB Star, John Legend Visits Nigeria

American RnB Super Star, John legend has joined the list of American celebrities such as rappers Cardi B and Nature who have visited Nigeria in the past few weeks as the singer paid a surprise visit to the most populous black nation. The news of his visit came courtesy of his wife, Chrissy Teigen.
John legend was present at an event in Lagos on Monday January 20,2020 where he performed some of his hit records at This Day Awards 2020 at Eko Hotel Convention Centre in Victoria Island.
The 10 times Grammey Award winner was a guest of the founding chairman and Editor-in-Chief of This Day Media group, Nduka Obaigbena. It was a great event which was to also mark the celebration of 25 years of This Day and the introduction of a new streaming service.
Super model, Naomi Campbell was also present at the event and took the stage alongside Obaigbena to the launch of the streaming service.
It was his wife, Chrissy Teigen, who first revealed the singer was in Nigeria”, John went to Nigeria for a couple of days and I thought about going Purdy to find Micheal from godays, but… the enchilada has rendered me useless”, she wrote on twitter.
