Monarch Tasks Communities On Peaceful Co-Existence

The Onye Ishi Etche and Chairman, Etche Supreme Council of Traditional Rulers and Chiefs, His Eminence, Eze E.N.B Opurum, has charged communities in Etcheland to maintain peace so as to attract meaningful development.
The royal father also warnd youths to desist from cultism, kidnapping, rape and other social vices which are inimical to their lives and the growth of Etche land.
The Oche of Etche, made the call during the 50th Birthday celebration/Ground Opening of Ulakwo Umuselem palace and 5th Anniversary on the throne of Eze Ken Nwala at Nihi Etche in Etche Local Government Area.
He said: “ Let’s reflect on the Christmas season which revolves around love. Let love reign among the youths. Let them do away with all forms of social vices capable of destroying their lives”.
He described the celebrant, His Royal Highness Eze Ken Nwala, Onye Ishi Agwuru Ulakwo Umuselem and Ugo 1 of Etche land, as a rare specie peace crusader.
Eze Opurum said that Eze Nwala has used his position to promote peace, unity and growth in Etche land and beyond.
”The celebrant is a worthy son who has worked hard towards ensuring that insecurity is a thing of the past in the land. He discharges his duties with respect to the cultural norms”, he said.
The Onye Ishi Etche said the traditional institution in Etche would ever remain grateful to the celebrant for his immense contributions and support.
Noting that the traditional ruler attracted a lot of persons through his humble disposition, the Oche of Etche pointed out that Etche land needed the likes of the celebrant.
