The first win at home has given my players confidence to win more games, at the ongoing Nigeria Professional Football League( NPFL), Technical Manager of Rivers United FC, Stanley Eguma has said.
According to him, they prepared adequately, knowing that Rangers FC players will want to run away with points.
Coach Eguma said this  on Wednesday, in a post match interview with sports journalists after defeating Rangers FC 2-1, in match day four of NPFL season at the Yakubu Gowon Stadium, Port Harcourt.
“ I knew was going to be  a tough  match knowing that Rangers FC lost its last outing  before coming to Port Harcourt.
I commend my players for their good performance, most especially the courage they had after their visitors equalised” he stated.
Speaking on their next game against Warri Wolves, Eguma said they are going to perfect plans to ensure they recovered their points.
“ We have lost points at home, it is also  better for us to get points in  Warri and  we are going to work toward that” he stated.
United has played four matches, won one, drew two, lost one, with five points, currently occupying tenth position on the log.
