‘Security, Necessary Ingredient For Society’s Dev’
The Managing Director of Afristructure Magazine, Mr Okoroma Chukwuemela George, has described security as a necessary ingredient for the development of the society.
Okoroma, who stated this while chatting with newsmen in Port Harcourt yesterday explained that no meaningful development could be achieved without security.
He praised the Rivers State Governor, Chief Nyesom Wike on his recent efforts at peace building.
Mr Okoroma, who is also the managing Director of two publishing firms, Port Harcourt Insight and Gambeta News.com noted that the governors effort at peace building and security would also build confidence in investors.
According to him, the regional magazine, Afristructure is centred on infrastructural development in the continent.
He pointed out that one of the greatest challenges facing Africa was infrastructural development.
The Managing Director, who trained as a civil engineer in Scotland, said he had a flair for writing and pointed out that his magazine was a platform for exchange of knowledge.
“As professionals we talk about development of infrastructure across Africa and that spurred us to start the magazine”, he stated.
Mr. Okoroma noted that his forms partnered with other professional firms in different African countries to achieve results.
He explained that his both magazines Port Insight and Afristructure dealt with infrastructure.
He said the insight was a monthly magazine, while Afristructure was quarterly one.
