S’Court Ruling, Victory For Rivers People – Party Stalwart
A stalwart of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ogba /Egbema/ Ndoni Local Government Area of Rivers State, Hon. Vincent Job , has described the Supreme Court ruling on 2019 Rivers State governorship election which upheld victory of Chief Nyesom Wike as victory for Rivers people and lovers of democracy.
Job who is the PDP Secretary in the local government, said the ruling by the apex court was clearly an act of God to put an end to the 2019 election issue in the state.
The PDP scribe who spoke while reacting over the Supreme Court ruling declaring Wike as the real winner, stated that the ruling had vindicated Wike and the electoral umpire, INEC.
Job further said that the judgement had also proved that Governor Wike’s election as declared by INEC was a true reflection of Rivers State in particular
and advised losers to accept defeat in the interest of the state and support Wike to succeed in bringing development to the state.
He noted that Governor Wike was working assiduously towards fulfilling his campaign promises to people of the state by focusing more on security, infrastructure, and job creation.
Job hailed the three-man committee led by Justice Okoro Inyang, saying the trio deserve applause because of the landmark judgement.
According to him, “the landmark judgement by the apex court is an obvious indication that the judiciary remains the last hope for the common man”.
The PDP scribe also commended the people of Rivers State for their unflinching support to the Governor and PDP in the state led by Bro Felix Obuah for the unprecedented success recorded particularly on project delivery across the state.
