Meanwhile, the Permanent Secretary stated that Governor Wike has set a pace in governance in the state.
Nsirim, during the advocacy campaign to the polytechnic, said the time has come for the academic community to join the campaign in projecting the image of Rivers State in good light.
He said “the vocal minority must no longer be allowed to continue to paint the state black”, stressing that the polytechnic community must see itself as a brand ambassador of Rivers State.
According to him, there is need for a collective effort to change the narrative about the state.
Nsirim also commended the institution for its steady progress in terms of academic and infrastructural development, and urged that the message be carried to every nooks and crannies of the institution.
