NUJ Hails LG Boss On Security
The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), The Tide chapel has commended the Chairman of Eleme Local Government Area of Rivers State, Hon Philip Okparaji for restoring security to the local government area.
Chairman of the chapel, Mr Akujobi Amadi, who said this during a courtesy call on the council boss at the council secretariat in Ogale, said the chapel was overwhelmed with the high-level of security in the area within the shortest period of time.
“Honestly, as a chapel, we are overwhelmed with your sequential achievements within the period under review.
“We are most excited with the way and manner you tackled the security challenges in the area” he said.
He also lauded the chairman for his landmark achievements in the area of infrastructure and empowerment, adding that the chapel is happy that one of its members was making it proud.
Amadi who commended the people of Eleme for their massive support to the council boss, said the union has fixed 16th December 2019 for formally receive him as an Ambassador of the chapel.
Responding, Hon Okparaji said his administration was determined to embark in projects that would positively affect the lives of the people.
He said the council was on the verge of completing a model secretariat put in place by the administration of Ejor Ngowa Ejor.
Okparaji listed areas the council had recorded achievements to include human empowerment, sanitation to amongst others.
