LG Boss Praises Tribunal’s Verdict …Wants More Support For Wike
The Chairman of Emohua Local Government Area of Rivers State, Chief Tom Aliezi, has praised the Rivers State Governorship Elections Tribunal for dismissing the petition of the Action Democratic Party(ADP) governorship candidate, Mr Victor Fingesi in the March 9 governorship election in the state.
The council chairman who spoke with The Tide at the weekend in Port Harcourt, described the judgement as victory for democracy in Nigeria and Rivers State in particular.
High Chief Aliezi, also commended the tribunal and its chairman, Justice Orjiakor for the ruling, adding that, no one man can change the decision of God.
“Anyone who decides to fight what God has ordained, will continue to lose”, he added.
The Emolga Council boss, also called on the people of the state, to join hands with the Governor Nyesom Wike-led Government to bring development to the doorsteps of the rural dwellers.
“ I urge you all to support the present administration led by Chief ( Barr) Nyesom Wike for the effective delivery of the dividend of democracy to all”, he said.
The council boss, further commended the people of Emohua Local Government Area, for their support to the administration of Governor Nyesom Wike.
