The head coach of Fidax Football According (FFA), Akan Promise, has blamed his players for not playing to instructions that resulted to goalless draw at the ongoing Kings Cup, number six field, in Port Harcourt.
According to him, his players underrated their opponents, Little Kings Football Academy (LKFA), because of their size.
Coach Promise made the assertion, in an exclusive interview with Tidesports, shortly after the game, at the weekend.
“It is a sad one because we are not expected to play draw. Honestly, before my players will realize the game was over,” Promise said.
However, he commended LKFA for their impressive performance, saying that the team is good because the players are determined and committed.
“They are determined not minding their size,” he stated.
Also speaking, the head coach of LKFA, Simeon ThankGod, said they were in good position of winning the game.
“Draw is part of the game.We will come out with different game plan in our next game,” ThankGod said.
He equally commended his team and described them as the best in the competition.
“Football is about determination not stature.  We are going back to the drawing board to enable us win our second match” he stated.
