Emergency Medical Services Team Treats Flood Victims In Ahoada West

In continuation of efforts to assist persons displaced by flood in Ahoada West Local Government Area, the Rivers State Emergency Medical Services, last Saturday, embarked on extensive medical outreach in the affected local government area.
Medical Doctors, Nurses and Laboratory Scientists of the Rivers State Emergency Medical Services directly treated hundreds of displaced persons at different Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) camps in the area.
The medical outreach was carried out in conjunction with the leadership of Ahoada West Local Government Area.
On Saturday, the Rivers State Emergency Medical Services alongside the Chairman of Ahoada West Local Government Area, Hon Hope Ikiriko, worked for several hours at the IDP camps.
The Ahoada West LGA and officials of the Rivers State Government also distributed relief materials to the displaced persons.
The Rivers State Emergency Medical Services has been working with different local government councils and civil society groups to provide free medical services to those displaced by flood.
